I graduated with my BSN in 2004 from Truman State University. I began to learn about more holistic and natural ways to care for myself and my family when my middle child was diagnosed with eczema at 6 months. We removed artificial fragrances from our home, my essential oil collection grew (and grew!) and I started researching conventional childhood illnesses and treatments. It led to joining many natural minded groups where I repeatedly saw moms saying their child was no longer welcome at their pediatrician's office. After a strong nudge from God, I graduated from Graceland University as a Family Nurse Practitioner!
I have an amazing and supportive husband and three awesome kids. My hobbies include taking those kids to their many activities and tending to our homestead!
